Service Fees

Abilista Service Fees

Effective June 4, 2020

This Agreement is between you as Manufacturer/Provider and Abilista Studio S.L. (“Abilista“, “Us” or “We“). This Agreement provides information on the fees Abilista charges in exchange for providing the Site ( and Site Services to you and the taxes Abilista may collect, as detailed below.

Service Fees For Providers

Providers pay Abilista a “Service Fee” for the use of the Site Services.

Abilista may charge Service Fees to Providers for accessing to Client’s projects and quoting but also for using the Site’s different services such as communication, invoicing, reporting, dispute resolution, payment, facilitating arbitration, etc… as described in the Terms of Use.

When a Client pays a Provider for a Project or when funds related to a Project are otherwise released to a Provider, the site will credit the Provider’s account for the full amount, and then subtract and disburse to Abilista the Service Fee. The Provider hereby irrevocably authorizes and instructs our third-party payment service provider to deduct such Service Fee from the Provider’s account and pay Abilista on Provider’s behalf.

There may be a foreign currency conversion charge on the payments processed by our third-party payment service provider; the rate may differ from rates that are in effect on the date of the payment.

Tiered Fees

Abilista will charge Providers a Service Fee based on the total Order’s Cost collected from a Client (less any refunds or reversals) for any confirmed Order. Unless different pricing applies, the Service Fee rates decrease as the total transaction amount collected from a Client for an Order as follows (“Tiered Fees”):

€1,000.00 and below

€1,000.01 to 5,000.00

5,000.01 and up

Example of Tiered Fees

If a Client confirms an Order for a total value of €1,500, the Service Fee will be calculated as follows:

€200 (€1,000 x 20%)

€75 (500 x 15%)

Total Order’s Cost: €1,500

Total Service Fees: €275

Note: The Service Fee will appear as a single amount in your Account, rather than separate amounts as shown in the example above. Examples in this Agreement are provided for illustrative purposes only and are not binding. Because of rounding, the Service Fees charged may differ slightly.

Custom Fees

Abilista reserves the right to apply a different pricing method to calculate the Service Fees to specific Providers based on our own criteria, such as for promotional purposes, for an unlimited time, or for a specific period. The custom method will be notified to the corresponding Providers if applicable.

VAT And Other Taxes

Abilista may be required by the applicable law to collect taxes or levies including, without limitation, withholding income tax or VAT (while some countries may refer to VAT using other terms, e.g. GST, we’ll just refer to VAT, GST and any local sales taxes collectively as “VAT”) in the jurisdiction of the Provider (the “Taxes“). In such instances, any amounts Abilista is required to collect or withhold for the payment of any such Taxes shall be collected in addition to the fees owed to Abilista under the Terms of Use.
