This innovative additive manufacturing technology allows the manufacture of prototypes or functional parts in a fast and cost-effective way, allowing to have very agile 3D printing services. 

Multi Jet Fusion printing consists of depositing a layer of powdered material on which injection heads will “draw” the geometry to be manufactured, using a product or melting agent instead of ink. Then, a light source will accelerate the fusion or polymerization process.

Multi Jet Fusion 3D printing technology does not use lasers to fuse the material. The part is “printed” layer after layer without waiting for the previous layer to fuse. By fusing together and not layer by layer, we get totally integral, solid, functional and strong parts.

This saves both time and energy consumption. Once the piece is finished, the vacuum is made, eliminating the remains of material notmelted, leaving very reduced post-processing tasks.

Printing on rigid and flexible plastic materials

Thanks to the reduced granulometry, it is possible to obtain parts with very low porosity

Reduced delivery times

The Multi Jet Fusion technology, by requiring little post-production, allows much faster deliveries than other 3D printing techniques.

Multiple and articulated parts

The high resolution offers the possibility of creating several parts at the same time, being able to generate articulations between them, such as hinges, slides, etc.

Just as when we have a design on screen we speak of a pixel as the element that will determine its resolution, in Multi Jet Fusion printing, we speak of “voxel” as the factor that measures the resolution or degree of finishing of the piece.

In fact, as we mentioned before, the piece is printed by ink-jet heads (hence the multi jet) with a horizontal resolution similar to that of an inkjet printer.

The third dimension or height of the voxel, is provided by the thickness of the base material, which would be equivalent to the paper in our simile. The layers of this material can be around 80 microns. A record that will give your pieces a very high precision.
